About this cleaning invoice template

List the cleaning service by hour or by room, any deep clean add-ons, supplies and a travel or trip charge. Enter a quantity and rate for each line and the amount is worked out for you.

Put the date of the clean and any job or purchase order number in the job section, and use the notes area for how to pay. Use the custom builder to add a checklist of rooms to the same page.

Questions

Can I charge by the room or by the hour?

Either. Describe the unit on the line, such as “Kitchen” or “Labor (hours)”, then enter the quantity and rate.

How are the totals worked out?

Each line is quantity times rate, rounded to the cent. The subtotal is the sum of the lines. A percent discount comes off the subtotal, tax is added at the rate you type, and any deposit or amount paid comes off to give the balance due. Leave the quantity blank for a flat price.

Does it work out sales tax for me?

No. Sales tax rules and rates differ by state and by item, so you type your own rate or leave it blank. Nothing is looked up. This is not tax or accounting advice.
