Questions
How do I charge a flat price for a job?
Leave the quantity blank and enter the price as the rate. A blank quantity counts as one.
How are the totals worked out?
Each line is quantity times rate, rounded to the cent. The subtotal is the sum of the lines. A percent discount comes off the subtotal, tax is added at the rate you type, and any deposit or amount paid comes off to give the balance due. Leave the quantity blank for a flat price.
Does it work out sales tax for me?
No. Sales tax rules and rates differ by state and by item, so you type your own rate or leave it blank. Nothing is looked up. This is not tax or accounting advice.
